President Trump used those words when he was first asked about endorsing in the Cornyn-Paxton race for U.S. Senate.
Since then, he has reiterated his stance that he likes both men -- and that he wished they weren't running against each other.
But Senator Cornyn has made a career of selling out gun owners.
From leading the charge for Biden’s Bipartisan Safer Communities Act (BSCA) -- the most significant federal gun control bill in three decades -- to pushing Red Flag-style gun confiscation laws, and expanding the NICS Gun Ban Registry, Cornyn has proven time and again that he is no friend of the Second Amendment.
That's why I'm asking you to please sign TXGR's open letter to President Trump, imploring him to NOT endorse Cornyn in the March 2026 Senate Primary Election.
Signing this letter is NOT your endorsement for any candidate (although Texas Gun Rights PAC has proudly endorsed Attorney General Paxton).
Your signature on this letter serves as a condemnation of John Cornyn's anti-gun record.
